I am into chip verification.. Oh .. not Lays or Diamond chips.. 😉 Its a complex activity done using hardware languages and basic electronics. We convert a piece of silicon into an intelligent device.. 🙂
By the way have i told you folks about my name; its Ravi S Gupta 🙂
My Journey in the VLSI Field:
Well it all started when i was doing my engineering in electronics and communication. I always believed that the electronics and communication engineering field is an evergreen subject overall. After my 4 years of hardwork in engineering i analysed my marks card and found that my journey is on the way where i have always scored marks in subject in vlsi domain right from digital design to CMOS to Fabrication Technology or for that matter the VHDL Language. So my fortune was already written to really enter into this field the day i entered engineering but realised after 4 years of hardwork.
My first contract job for a year was in ISRO Satellite Center, See the luck i was put into the Controls Division and was to work as a verification engineer verifying FPGA/ASIC Designs written in VHDL.
